In Haiti, Earthspark International taps into a network of clean energy retailers, which work under the brand Enèji Pwòp, to realize their goal of reducing poverty in the country.
Energy access in Haiti is limited and irregular at best. Earthspark International launched a local brand, Enèji Pwòp, to address this need by establishing a network of retailers who go door-to-door or set up small home stores to provide clean energy products. Though Haitians immediately liked them, the perceived cost made it seem out of reach for many. Earthspark International approached us to help retailers better communicate the cost savings of their products, and their health and environmental benefits.
After spending a week in the field with Enèji Pwòp, talking to customers and retailers, we brought findings back to our creative team to think of solutions. Our final suite of materials included a print-based marketing concept and campaign materials as well as interpersonal communication tools such as a site seller to help communicate the benefits of Enèji Pwòp products. Enèji Pwòp will launch and rollout the campaign and tools in 2014.
